Who’s Really in Charge of Checks and Balances in the US?

Most of us remember being taught that the US government is made up of three parts or branches to keep each other in check. It just so happens that most Democrats don’t understand what those branches are.

Proof of this was given on Wednesday during a House Oversight Committee hearing.

As you might have heard, there is much to do being made over Hunter Biden’s laptop and accusations that the first son hasn’t been paying his taxes as he should, as well as a whole slew of other problems he’s been involved in.

During these hearings, IRS whistleblowers have insisted that the Department of Justice, on behalf of the Biden White House, has been obstructing justice and helping the Bidens hide their crimes.

To this, die-hard Democrats, such as Representative Kweisi Mfume of Maryland, are having a meltdown.

In fact, Mfume even tried to assert that it was the job of the DOJ, FBI, and IRS to provide the “checks and balances” our country needs.

He said, “I don’t like these attacks on the Department of Justice, the FBI, the IRS as if they are somehow anti-U.S. agencies. Those agencies keep this democracy in check. They provide the checks, and they provide the balances.”

First of all, this lawmaker clearly doesn’t know the law or the Constitution. His first order of business for the coming days should be to educate himself on such.

Secondly, this explains so so much about the Democratic Party.

As conservative commentator Greg Price responded, this proves that most of the political left apparently believes that we are not a “constitutional republic with three branches of government accountable to the people. We should instead be ruled by unelected bureaucrats and intelligence agencies who do their bidding.”

The DC swamp at its finest…

No wonder the Democratic Party is hemorrhaging the support of the American people.
