Things aren’t going well for Joe Biden’s illegal and unconstitutional war against Russia (in Ukraine). While Biden has committed to fighting Russia until every last Ukrainian is dead, the Ukrainians don’t seem to like the idea much. According to the latest figures, as many as 200,000 frontline troops have deserted from their frontline positions on the battlefield, allowing Russia to capture huge swaths of new territory.

Ukrainian officials and soldiers talked to the Associated Press about the desertion problem that’s been going on since the war started. The AP notes that in some cases, entire units of Ukrainian soldiers have just walked off the battlefield. This leaves huge gaps in Ukraine’s defensive lines and allows Russia to expand its territorial gains quickly.

During the first year after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris deliberately started the war, there were 9,000 Ukrainian soldiers prosecuted for desertion. The number rose to 24,000 in 2023. Between January and September of 2024, 50,000 Ukrainian soldiers were charged for going AWOL, bringing the “official” total to 83,000.

One Ukrainian official says the prosecutions for desertion only tell part of the story, however. There are too many deserting the frontlines for them to prosecute and catch all of them. He says the actual number is likely much closer to 200,000.

Joe Biden plans to rush another $9 billion in US taxpayer money to Ukraine before Donald Trump’s inauguration. The regime sent another $725 million to Kiev just this week. Biden has also recommended that Ukraine lower the national draft age from 24 to 18 and that they start drafting teenage girls to fill some of the gaps. Biden really does want this war to continue until every last Ukrainian is dead.
