There’s a third GOP debate coming up on November 8. It will take place in Miami, Florida, and will feature all of the top candidates, including Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and Vivek Ramaswamy.

Notice that there’s a big name missing from that list. Donald Trump is continuing his trend by not participating in yet another GOP debate.

Now, at this point, many are wondering whether it’s simply his way to double down on his comments that he wouldn’t participate or if there’s a REAL reason why he won’t debate any of the candidates.

Many assume that Trump is going to win the GOP primaries regardless of what happens at the debates.

However, Trump has decided to try to outshine the debate yet again.

The Trump campaign has announced that he’ll be holding a campaign rally in Hialeah, Florida, on the same night.

This is problematic for the GOP debate for a number of reasons:

  1. Hialeah is VERY close to Miami.
  2. Trump’s rallies are known to bring in MASSIVE crowds.
  3. More people will tune into Trump’s rally than for the debate.

At some point, we have to ask whether it’s even worth it for the other GOP candidates to continue with the debates. Aside from hearing Chris Christie make up names for everyone and seeing how Haley walks all over Ramaswamy for his lack of experience and knowledge in the political arena, are we suddenly going to learn anything new about the candidates?

Probably not.

Trump posted on Truth Social about the debate: “The last debate was the lowest rated debate in history. The next and probably last one, in Miami, will do even worse. Republicans should not debate, they should UNITE in defeating the WORST & MOST INCOMPETENT ADMINISTRATION IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES.”

We can’t say he’s wrong.
