The rainbow mafia is outraged after an all-Muslim city council and mayor in Michigan voted unanimously to ban LGBT flags on city property. This happened back in June in the town of Hamtramck, but the Washington Post decided it needed to pour some more gasoline on the “controversy” by griping about it this month. They’re claiming that the “far-right bigotry” of the Muslims is somehow the fault of Republicans.
Woke leftists continue to believe that if they just play nice with the socially conservative Muslims that they’ve brought into the country through their mass immigration programs, the Muslims will fall in line and blindly obey the party line on everything. The most sacred of sacred cows in the Democrat Party’s coalition of the fringes right now is the rainbow mafia, and everyone is supposed to get on board with that.
It’s not working. The Muslims aren’t budging. They don’t want any of the gay or trans stuff in public schools or in the public square.
A lesbian social worker tried to put the Muslims in their place at a city council meeting over the summer. She told them, “We welcomed you. We created nonprofits to help feed, clothe, find housing. We did everything we could to make your transition here easier, and this is how you repay us, by stabbing us in the back?”
If only the Democrats had thought of that before inviting in hundreds of thousands of people whose ancient cultural and religious practices include brutal repression of the gays, up to and including the death penalty. We would suggest that the liberals in Hamtramck engage in democracy by simply voting the Muslims out of office, but it’s obviously too late for that now.
They’re outnumbered.
