Following the attacks in Israel and the Gaza Strip on October 8th, the outpouring of messages about the rapidly escalating conflict has been incredible. Much to the surprise of many, these messages have not been extensively in support of Israel. While the old joke of the Jewish people running Hollywood has always had a nugget of truth to it, that history is quickly wiped out in the face of the liberal agenda.
This liberal agenda has instead seen many people quickly dropping to their knees to support Black Lives Matter (BLM) and their quick decision to back Palestine. Their Grassroots edition represents 26 different chapters of the racist organization, and they were quick to throw down the race card and call the Palestinian people one of their own.
“As the world is faced with deep questions about self-determination, as we all desire and pray for a world of peace, we must stand unwaveringly on the side of the oppressed. When a people have been subject to decades of apartheid and unimaginable violence, their resistance must not be condemned, but understood as a desperate act of self-defense… As Black people continue the fight to end militarism and mass incarcerations in our own communities, let us understand the resistance in Palestine as an attempt to tear down the gates of the world’s biggest open-air prison.”
This message has not fallen on deaf ears across the nation. As people on both sides of the aisle take their sides and dig in for a long battle, even CNN has been gobsmacked by these revelations out of Washington leftists. On “The Lead” host Jake Tapper called out the problems being led by “The Squad” and their inciteful rhetoric.
“So you have a Democratic colleague from Michigan, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, the first Palestinian American to serve in Congress, and she released a statement. ‘I grieve the Palestinian and Israeli lives lost. The path to peace must include lifting the blockade, and ending the occupation, and dismantling the apartheid system that creates the suffocating, dehumanizing conditions that could lead to resistance. As longs our country provides billions in unconditional funding to support the apartheid government, this heartbreaking cycle of violence will continue.’”
Tapper summed it up best by simply saying, “These last few days have been a real eye-opening period for a lot of people, a lot of Democrats and a lot of progressives in terms of antisemitism on the left. A lot of people who seemed more shocks at dehumanizing language to describe Hamas than what Hamas actually perpetrated on Saturday.”
Seeing how many people are antisemitic has been incredibly bothersome. While many of the Hollywood elite, and even politicians in DC have handlers and press people who handle such statements, many of them are of a Jewish background. They remember far too well the history of the Holocaust. With this being the biggest attack on the Jewish people since then, the scars are far too fresh to be forgotten, yet they keep pushing this drivel and these horrible lies.
The antisemitism within the liberal left is something conservatives have been talking about for decades. While they were quick to try and find it in the right, especially when Trump was in office, they ignored their own. Instead, they often found themselves gravely mistaken, and not understanding our views. A quick course in these beliefs, and many left it be.
Yet in their backyards, these liberals found themselves standing shoulder to shoulder with BLM and other leftists they thought believed like they did. The topic of Israel and Palestine never came up, so they simply assumed they would support the Jewish people. Given the ties between Palestine, Hamas, and terrorism around the globe, it made sense to assume such.
Now, they are quickly learning that the person who was passing out their signs at rallies isn’t supporting them. The same person they once welcomed into their home the day before Shabbos for tea and scones is now spitting in their face from across the picket line. Even though this other person knew damn well how they felt, they kept the charade up, and now it’s too late.
The word is out, and the American people are now going to face new “peaceful” protests and riots. All in the name of Israel vs Palestine, and it could quickly spell true war between the sides here in the US.
