Joe Biden Spikes Homelessness All the Way Back up to 2005 Levels

Homelessness has set a new record high in America thanks to all the problems that Joe Biden has managed to heap on us in just three years. According to the latest data that we have, which is from 11 months ago, there were more than 653,100 homeless people in America. That was back in January, so the number today is like much, much higher. Even in small towns across America, there are now pockets of homeless people. It’s a phenomenon that most of us have never seen in our lifetimes, and it is entirely a problem of the Biden regime’s making.

The number of homeless in America increased by 12% over January of 2022. Roughly 70,650 Americans became homeless between 2022 and January of 2023. We won’t even know exactly how bad the problem became this year until a few months from now when the next set of numbers is released. But does anyone think it went down? There’s zero chance of that.

During the last year of Donald Trump’s presidency, there were an estimated 554,000 homeless in the country. That number was driven up intensely in 2020 by the COVID lockdown policies of Democrat governors, some of whom kept businesses and schools shut down for a year.

Joe Biden’s 2023 number is slightly higher than the previous record set back in 2005 when globalist RINO George W. Bush was flooding America with Third World immigrants. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced last Friday:

“HUD data indicates that the rise in overall homelessness is largely due to a sharp rise in the number of people who became homeless for the first time. Between federal fiscal years 2021 and 2022, the number of people who became newly homeless increased by 25%.”

Jeff Olivet, the director of the U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, stated, “The most significant causes are … the high cost of housing that have left many Americans living paycheck to paycheck and one crisis away from homelessness.”

That’s absolutely true. If you spend any time talking with the homeless these days, they’re not all crazy fentanyl addicts or street poopers, although those are the ones that make all the headlines. Many people who are now homeless are normal people who were in the middle class until about 11 seconds ago when the bottom dropped out for them.

All of this is policy-driven by a federal government which, as an entity, hates the American people.

You cannot throw a nation’s borders open and invite 20 million (or more) welfare leeches in and not have it impact housing costs. America didn’t have 20 million empty apartments sitting there, just waiting for Joe Biden’s illegal aliens to occupy them. We have a housing shortage in America right now because we have a glut of people who don’t belong here. The scarcity of housing units drives the cost of housing up for every American. Good luck getting anyone in Congress, other than Sen. JD Vance (R-OH) to mention this, though.

The catastrophic rate of homelessness is only going to get worse over the next year of “Bidenomics.” Open borders contribute to expanded government spending, which causes more hyperinflation. Meanwhile, hordes of illegal aliens suppress wages for American families while causing real estate prices to skyrocket. Rent has increased by 30% for Americans since Joe Biden was fraudulently installed in the White House, while wages have remained stagnant.

There’s no question that Joe Biden cannot win reelection in 2024. Everyone hates him and understands that all of these problems are his regime’s fault. The question is whether many Americans will be able to survive until the election next year.
