Senator Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) has been having a rough go of it lately. From party line pressure to ‘go with the flow’ on the latest crackpot liberal ‘Build Back Better’ (which doesn’t even make grammatical sense) agenda pushed by Biden, to the bathroom attacks at ASU, the liberals and their stooges are unrelenting. Yet no matter how much trash they shovel in front of her, this Senator keeps fighting back and sticking to her guns. This has in turn made her a favorite amongst conservates in a 50-50 Senate.
While speaking with another but unnamed Democratic Senator Sinema had the following to say: “I have already told the White House what I am willing to do and what I’m not willing to do. I’m not mysterious. It’s not that I can’t make up my mind. I communicated it to them in detail. They just don’t like what they’re hearing.” This is music to the ears of conservatives, Republicans, and common-sense people everywhere.
This stance puts her squarely at odds with every Senator in the Democratic party; except for Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV). These two Senators are doing EXACTLY what a Senator is supposed to do, and is representing their constituents and not the party lines. While these two are holding the line about what they don’t want, they also aren’t publicly tipping their hand as to what they do want to see. While rumors persist, there has been no concrete statement from either Senator about what could get them to cross over and fall in line with the rest of the sheep.
While the two agree about not agreeing to the agenda as currently written, their sticking points look to be polar opposites; thus sticking Democrats in a classic stalemate. If Sen. Sinema wants more taxes leveled against companies for their carbon use, but a less expensive drug program, and Sen. Manchin is completely against carbon taxes but pushing an even bigger drug program, then there is no win for this bill.
Perhaps the Democrats need to look at not just bipartisan support on this topic, but on making this agenda far less inclusive. Long ago Senators would tackle one or two topics at a time. This meant it would be easier to gain support for high corporate taxes (for example), and then the next bill would be about the drug programs. By consistently tacking one bill on with another, and another, and yet another it makes getting anything passed incredibly difficult. You can’t get blockbuster bills passed in 2021 without massive support and compromise from the other side, and it’s even worse when you have infighting about the bill to begin with.
Whatever way the Democrats slice it, America is finding itself in more perilous waters by the day. America is becoming more ‘woke’ by the day, and it’s putting people’s lives at risk. This isn’t good for the people, and the longer it goes on the worse it becomes. We no longer ask the question of ‘what did they do to get arrested?’ we now say ‘why is that white cop arresting that black man? He didn’t do nothin’!!’
This victim mindset has poisoned America, and should this agenda pass, it will only push the poison even deeper into the veins of Americans everywhere. Now that’s not to say everyone is asking that but look at your local paper, your local news, and on social media.
It’s out there, everywhere and it is already beginning to destroy the fabric of America from the inside out. When will the people wake up and put more people in office who are worried about Jack and Jill Commonman and less about Adam and Abby Special-Interest?
