For years now many of American people have disliked the relationship the US has with Saudi Arabia. Given their involvement as a country with 9/11, the master manipulation of oil prices that pits the rest of the world against them, and the overall arrogance of the crown family, it shouldn’t be surprising that they aren’t trusted. Yet high-level officials are always happy to trust them due to relationships with other countries in the middle east.
Now with President Biden alleging the Saudis have formed some semblance of collusion with the Russians they are fed up with the old man. With the Saudis and OPEC+ voting to decrease production to drive prices back up, Biden figured they had to be working together, and he wants it to stop. He wants to see oil and gas prices plummet once again.
In response to Biden’s accusations, the Saudi foreign ministry released a statement to upend his accusations. “The Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia would first like to express its total rejection of these statements that are not based on facts, and which are based on portraying the OPEC+ decision out of its purely economic context.”
This statement alone isn’t exactly inflammatory, nor is it something the American people should be worried about. It’s canned and what we can expect anytime there is an oil conflict with OPEC+. Especially when pricing and production are involved. Unfortunately, members of the royal family do not share that same view.
Saudi Prince Saud al-Shaalan is married to one of the granddaughters of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud who has been especially vocal about his opposition to President Biden and any statements the American people have to say about Saudi Arabia. Taking to Twitter to share his bone-chilling thoughts via video, he did not mince words in his statement.
“Anybody that challenges the existence of this country and this kingdom. All of us, we are products of jihad, and martyrdom. That’s my message to anybody that thinks that it can threaten us.”
Many who are unfamiliar with the culture could take this as a vague threat. Given the number of suicide bombers that attacked troops in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria with Saudi origins, this is a threat that indicates their attacks could be coming to the US shores if they feel threatened. They have people in their military as well as civilians who are well-versed in these efforts and hesitating to launch an attack is not something they would do.
For all his faults, President Biden could easily make a very smart decision here. He already tried talking to them about changing their mind, and it failed. With that failing, he could simply drop his green America plans and give US oil producers the tools to flood the global market with oil. Additionally, he could replenish the strategic reserves he has depleted to temper the surge in fuel pricing.
Unfortunately for Americans, that’s something that runs contradictory to the liberal agenda, and he refuses to deviate from that plan. Instead, he is bound and determined to make the US into a green country, a move that will only serve to further infuriate the Saudis as well as the rest of OPEC+. If global war is his end game, he is on the right path to get it underway.
This clown in the White House has shown the American people just how ill-prepared for the office he was, and just how horrible of a decision the people made in choosing him.
As it stands right now, he is running through taxpayer money to fund Ukraine via direct financing and weapons. His beloved Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi fueled the flames between Taiwan and China. He has upped the aggression of North Korea, and now he wants to go toe to toe with the Saudis. Where does it end?
