Good Grief: No Fuel for a US Navy Carrier Group After Its One Refueling Ship Runs Aground

For the third time in the past year, a US Navy ship has been crippled by the embarrassing failure of running aground. This is a direct consequence of the DEI promotion atmosphere in the military under Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. The most competent people are not being promoted and ships keep running into the dirt instead of staying on the water. This isn’t just any ship that ran aground, however. It was the only replenishment oiler assigned to the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Group in the Middle East—right as the globalists are trying to start a war between America and Iran/Syria/Lebanon.

The USNS Big Horn ran aground somewhere near the coast of Oman this week. The Big Horn carries a civilian crew of 89 and five US Navy soldiers. Its job is to carry jet fuel around to the aircraft carriers when they run out of gas so that Navy fighter jets can remain in the air constantly. A Nimitz class aircraft carrier can only keep its planes in the air for a few days without the need to refuel.

That’s the point of a replenishment oiler like the Big Horn. Except right now, the Big Horn is being towed to port in Oman. The rudder mount post was ripped apart when the ship ran aground and it sheared off multiple bolts. It’s also taking on water very badly. We know all this because there’s no operational security in today’s Navy when they’re deploying civilian mariners on ships like the Big Horn. Some idiot ran downstairs and recorded this on his cell phone before posting it on the internet:

Let’s see if we can guess what sort of person was in charge of the USNS Big Horn when it ran aground. Was it:

  1. A woman with purple hair and facial piercings
  2. A “woman with purple hair, facial piercings, and a penis
  3. A person who is constantly saying “Diversity is our strength” with a straight face
  4. The most competent person in the US Navy who was available for promotion at the time

Spoiler alert: It’s not D). It’s definitely not D). When the news finally comes out about who was captaining the Big Horn, it’s going to be some dimwitted and unqualified diversity hire who puts their pronouns on their Twitter bio.

As for the Abraham Lincoln Carrier Group, it has no way to replenish its stores of jet fuel right now. The Navy is scrambling to find a civilian carrier in the region that can do the job, but it’s unclear whether a civilian carrier is even capable enough to do it. Refueling operations happen at full speed at sea.

Meanwhile, Joe Biden has sent 40,000 US troops—including the 101st Airborne—to the Middle East in preparation for following Israel’s orders to attack Iran, Syria, and Lebanon. The aircraft carriers in the region only have enough jet fuel for three or four days of heavy combat operations before they run out of gas. That’s how serious this is.

If your aircraft carrier can’t put aircraft in the skies, then it’s no longer an aircraft carrier. It’s a big, fat, juicy target with 5,000 helpless US Navy sailors on board, just waiting for the Iranians or the Houthis to send them to the bottom of the ocean. Pray that a war doesn’t break out right now because Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have crippled our military to the point where it can’t even fight back.
