If the political left is to be believed, former President Donald Trump is the most racist man to ever walk the face of the earth. Undoubtedly that is precisely what a recent Reuters investigation meant to prove when it took a long hard look into the ancestry and lineage of every living U.S. president and a few presidential candidates.
What they found, however, pretty much made their whole narrative blow up in their faces.
According to the investigation, which involved deep dives into ancestry records going back hundreds of years, Trump is actually the ONLY living U.S. president who did not descend from slave owners.
Five of the past six living presidents all descended from slave owners, including Barack Obama, our nation’s first black president.
Of course, former and sitting U.S. presidents weren’t the only ones looked into. In fact, according to Reuters, “a fifth of the nation’s congressmen, living presidents, Supreme Court justices, and governors are direct descendants of ancestors who enslaved Black people.”
It was reported that at least 100 sitting members of Congress and at least 25 percent of the Senate, including a few who are black, are descendants of slaveholders.
“In addition, President Joe Biden and every living former U.S. president – except Donald Trump – are direct descendants of slaveholders: Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton – and through his white mother’s side – Barack Obama.”
It is noted that Joe Biden’s ancestry can be traced back to a great-great-great grandfather who owned two slaves and another great-great-great-grandfather who owned a 14-year-old boy, according to records published by Politico.
Kamala Harris’s family also owned slaves, though not in the United States. Rather their involvement in slavery occurred in Jamaica.
On the other hand, Trump’s ancestors didn’t come to America until 1885, well after slavery had been outlawed.

It also proves that everything they think or claim to know about Trump is just wrong.
